The station launched as CoalNet in 2024 and rebranded to COAL in 2026. COAL streams via FM Caster and the Emergency Relay Network (ERN), operated by the Global Weather and EAS Society. COAL specializes in heavy metal, hockey, sports coverage, and news. The station also relays Emergency Alert System (EAS) messages when required, providing critical information to our audience.
